We are hiring Independent Contractors to take inbound customer service, technical support, data entry and/or sales calls remotely from home. After successfully registering on the Arise Portal we advise you to attend info-sessions to learn about all the available programs, certification requirements, call types and more. You will also be able to get your questions answered by the subject matter experts. All certification (training) classes are free. You are responsible for any equipment you need in order to service which is typically a hard-wired computer (laptop/desktop), internet modem, High Speed Internet (connection using ethernet cable no wi-fi), Windows 10 or 11 Operating System, USB headset, and basic landline phone with no features (may be required for some clients). Here’s what your day might look like when you’re using the Arise® Platform to provide customer service:

Answer calls and handle customer inquiries

Research required information using available resources
-
Manage and resolve customer issues and complaints
-
Provide customers with product and service information
-
Enter customer information into system
-
Process orders and services
-
Schedule appointments and services
-
Identify and escalate priority issues
-
Route calls to appropriate resources
-
Follow up customer calls where necessary
-
Document all call information according to standard operating procedures
Key Competencies:
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Listening skills
• Problem analysis and problem solving
• Able to work with little supervision in a quiet work space
• Able to work a minimum of 15 hours per week (some weekend hours may be required)

Bilingual a plus but not required
Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Proficient in relevant computer applications

Required language proficiency
-
Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
-
Some experience in a call center or customer service environment is helpful

Good data entry and typing skills

This PDF details computer, headset, phone, Internet, and equipment that is compatible with the Arise® Platform. Certain client programs may have additional requirements. Prior to selecting a client program, you will have access to the Opportunity Announcement which details any additional requirements above and beyond the ones listed in the PDF.
